ABOUT

Cheeky Mouse Design is led by Glenn Solomons, a strategic learning designer and brand strategist with over a decade of experience working across education systems, government, professional services, and growing businesses.

Glenn has supported more than 50 organisations to clarify their positioning, strengthen trust, and turn complex ideas into clear, practical systems through both learning design and brand led digital work.

That experience shapes everything here. The focus is always on how people think, decide, and act, and how design can quietly support that process before a conversation ever begins.

My Background

I started my career as a high school teacher and secondary school leader, where I drove school improvement through innovative strategies around effective feedback, learning objectives, and positive behaviour frameworks. During that time, I also designed groundbreaking Game Arts and Game Design programs with the Academy of Interactive Entertainment for multiple schools.

As my work evolved, so did I. I moved into educational consulting and leadership development, designing and delivering emerging and middle leadership programs across Australia—including work with the Tasmanian Department of Leadership.

As a lead facilitator and learning designer with EC by Go1, I supported thousands of teachers and school leaders annually through cutting-edge curriculum design and professional learning delivery.

Today, I work independently—partnering with educational organisations and thought leaders to design scalable learning systems that amplify their impact.

What I Do

I specialise in blended and asynchronous learning design for educational organisations and thought leaders who want to scale their impact.

Over the years, I've consulted with school systems including Catholic Schools NSW, the University of Sydney, Diocese of Wagga Wagga, and Townsville Catholic Education, supporting them to design and develop professional learning initiatives.

My work includes:

  • Strategic planning for large-scale professional learning rollouts

  • Designing blended online learning programs that complement in-person delivery

  • Supporting system leadership teams to build internal capacity for effective program development and delivery

  • Speaking at conferences across Australia on educational leadership and learning design

My Philosophy

Great professional learning isn't about information transfer; it's about transformation.

Whether I'm working in a school, with a system, or alongside an educational consultant, my approach is the same: design learning experiences that are practical, engaging, and built to create lasting change.

I believe the best learning happens when:

  • It's grounded in real-world application

  • It respects the expertise of the people in the room

  • It's-off moments

  • It blends the best of in-person connection with the scalability of online delivery

Why I Love This Work

Because I get to work with people who are genuinely trying to make education better.

Whether it's a school leader implementing a new initiative, a system rolling out professional learning to thousands of staff, or an educational thought leader looking to amplify their impact—I'm energised by the challenge of translating great ideas into systems that actually work.

Education is complex. The people doing this work are brilliant. And when we can create the right structures, support, and learning experiences around them, incredible things happen.
